Janet Benedict’s eclectic style is partially due to her growing up around the world, schooling in three countries, and spending her 11th birthday admiring the great pyramids in Egypt. This is just a snippet of the tales she can tell you.
Janet’s passion for helping others came from 22 years working for Corporate Canada, training and motivating thousands in their respective business. Upon retirement, she started a promotional marketing business and, three years later, sold it. Janet started The Canadian Networker in 2009. Among its many offerings, the most popular are networking events, speaker series and workshops, mastermind groups, and online and live coaching. She is a licensed coach for the Get Clients Now program (only 3 coaches in Canada). The Canadian Networker expanded to include Cambridge Women in Business & Leadership in 2012 and started Rockin’ My Business in 2019, an online networking and training program along with Sherry Simoes of London and founder of WIBusiness. Tuesdays at Noon, sponsored by The Canadian Networker runs every Tuesday from noon to 12:50 pm on Zoom. Each week we network, business spotlights, brainstorm, answer your questions and do breakout rooms.
Janet's expertise and insights have been featured in several magazines, and she is currently working on a book. She has also made her mark in the media as the former host of the television show 'Children with Learning Disabilities'. You can catch her on the RMB YouTube channel, as well as on her podcast and radio program, where she interviews entrepreneurs and shares valuable tips and ideas for all in business.
