This month we welcome one of the region's bright successes in the hospitality industry.

Stephanie Soulis is the founder & CEO of Little Mushroom Catering & Dining Lounge in Cambridge. Since opening in 2010, LMC has won numerous awards for Sustainability, Service Excellence in Hospitality, and has won both the Cambridge & KW Small Business of the Year Award. In 2015, Stephanie was inducted into the Waterloo Region Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. Most recently, Little Mushroom Catering was named the 2024 Wedding Caterer of the Year by the Ontario Wedding Awards.

Stephanie spends volunteer time speaking to students about entrepreneurship through the Business Education Partnership. Stephanie is a mentor with TIAO, Futurepreneurs, and takes on Co-op Students from a variety of Ontario colleges. She is a certified Living Wage Champion, a member of the Better Way Alliance of Ethical Employers, and is passionate about being a values based business owner. She is an energetic speaker and is often called on as an industry expert and disruptor in the hospitality sector.  On the side, Stephanie develops and runs regional food tours through Stroll Walking Tours.
