"Yard Sale for the Cure" 8:00am-2:00pm
Yard Sale for the Cure is a one day national event presented by RE/MAX. Yard Sale for the Cure is a series of yard sales that take place in selected neighbourhoods across Canada on SATURDAY, MAY 28th, 2011 in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Participating individuals help raise money for breast cancer research, awareness and education by hosting a yard sale, making donations to a yard sale, by shopping a yard sale in their community, or by volunteering. In 2005, the inaugural event was held in the Toronto Beaches and it was a huge success, raising $45,000 and bringing community members together for this important cause. Yard Sale for the Cure is widely publicized and advertised attracting people to shop yard sales in their community. Now a growing number of people from across Canada are hosting yard sales, along with RE/MAX Solid Gold Realty, on May 28th, 2011. To date, Yard Sale for the Cure has raised over $725,000. Yard Sale for the Cure is the perfect way to spend a Saturday and help make real change happen!

You can donate the items you no longer need, or you can join us and shop for bargains, treasures and items you DO need - or make a CASH donation, all the while helping to create a future without breast cancer.
