3 Basic Tips For Wellness!

1. Get Moving - When you wake up in the morning start moving.  There is a build up of fuzz in all your moving joints that will make you feel a little stiff.  When you get up and start moving all your joints, arms, legs, shoulders you remove this fuzz.  If you have pain and stop moving, these areas will build up a lot of plaque and cause even more pain and strain.  Exercise can be cleaning house, cleaning garage, doing laundry, walking the dog, participating in sports that you love, skiing, golf, tennis, hiking, swimming, hockey, biking to name a few.  Try something new.  Get your family and friends on board.  There is no telling how the new adventures you create will change your life.

2. Eat Heathy - Our body is made of many cells.   These cells function best with good nutrients.  Eating good food will encourage good skin, enjoy a healthy weight. By eating smaller portions more frequently you will not feel "hungry". Get enough fluids from you food choices as well as drink clean water.   The closer your food source to you, the more nutrients you will get from the food.   Fresh, uncooked food has more nutrients in then cooked food.  Eating good food is easy, like eating an apple a day, keeps the doctor away.  Dark leafy greens have more nutrients the lighter colours.  Sometime, just enjoy the flavours of the many vegetables and fruits you choice. Spices add more then flovour, there are some healing properties involved, like tumeric, helps  releive inflamation, cinnamon helps regulate blood sugar levels, cilentro helps fight candida.

3. Get enough Rest - When life is busy we sometimes give up on the much needed rest we need.  Some people require only 4 hours but 7- 9 hours is a good balance.  Sleeping gives your brain time to learn, your muscles time to heal and is good for your overall wellbeing.  Teenagers need more rest then adults, but is challenging with their busy schedules.  Rest can be as simple as closing your eyes and meditating for 15 minutes to get yourself back in the mindset to enjoy the rest of your busy day or having a nap during the day.   Whatever you choose to do, enjoy  relaxation listening to music, meditate or sit quietly, you will notice a difference in your energy.
