Words have power, words can mean the difference between success and failure.
By using the right words you are able to influence others.
If you use the wrong words you will give the wrong impression. Trust can be built by using words that have a positive vibe to them.
A couple of examples:
- Might - meaning of the word might - "Might" is most commonly used to express possibility. But when you are influencing others to believe you are capable, are there for them, may attend their event, or even do business with them - Might is a word that does not offer a tangible outcome. Non-committal is another great way to describe the word Might.
- Maybe - meaning of the word maybe - "Maybe" An uncertainty, perhaps, possibly. Maybe does not offer a positive, it leaves others with a feeling of uncertainty. When influencing others it is better to offer a more positive outcome than a negative one.
There are so many words that we can chose from, why not look at the positive words versus the negative ones?
