Telus &Amp; The Globe And Mail Announce The Challenge

I am very excited to share that TELUS and The Globe and Mail announced the fourth annual installment of “The Challenge,” an annual contest that helps small business owners overcome their biggest business challenge with a $100,000 award from TELUS and other support for the four finalists and 10 regional winners. Canadian small business owners are invited to submit their business challenge online at Globeandmail.com/thechallenge. All winners will be selected by a panel of judges consisting of inspiring Canadian business owners and business experts.

This year, TELUS & The Globe and Mail are going to support and recognize small businesses better than ever before. They will be be spotlighting four finalists and 10 regional winners from across Canada with secondary awards. All winners are selected by a panel of judges consisting of inspiring Canadian business owners and experts.

Over the past four years TELUS and the Globe and Mail have supported innovative businesses within Canada. The Challenge’s 2013 winner, Calgary, Alberta-based Livestock Water Recycling Inc., created the technology that converts manure into clean water so it can be returned to the ground to feed crops and animals. Livestock submitted its challenge to find ways to expand its product into the international market. After receiving the $100,000 award from TELUS, the company enhanced and increased their lab facilities and is now on track to market their product globally.

Two years ago a business from Toronto called Glassopolis won The Challenge. Find out about their experience here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtlC_iI7Cjo
