Are You Memorable?

I was shopping in my local grocery store recently, I was dressed casually, and had one of my pink coats on. As I was looking down into a freezer full of beef at bargain prices I heard someone say " LindaOJ"! The person who had recognized me said it was partly because of my pink coat, but obviously something else about me must have made her remember me. We had spoken briefly at an event a few weeks earlier, I remembered her but not her name. This happens to me a lot, it would appear the way I dress, speak and how I listen to people when we are chatting makes a lasting impression and they remember me.

Obviously I am happy that this happens to me a lot, I am my brand, I want people to remember me, I am doing a great job - go me! Luckily for me I am good at what I do so the people who come up to me and want to chat with me are always potential clients, or possible referrers. You too can be in  this enviable position, you just have to work out what your brand is and what you are good at.

If you want to know more about building your brand and being memorable please email me linda@motivationalsteps.com and find out if I am speaking at an event in your city, if not I promise I will send you some tips, completely free.
